Recology Yuba-Sutter's next free cleanup day for Plumas Lake residents is on Saturday, October 25, 2025, from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Plumas Lake Park & Ride (760 Chalice Creek Dr). Residents need to bring a utility bill for proof of residency and should arrive with sorted items to drop off, such as trash, scrap metal, yard debris, and accepted universal hazardous waste like electronics and batteries.

What to bring
Proof of residence:
A Recology Yuba-Sutter utility bill is required.
Accepted items:
Trash, scrap metal, yard debris, old furniture, and appliances (limit two).
Universal hazardous waste:
Electronics, consumer household batteries, and fluorescent light bulbs are accepted.
Accepted items with restrictions:
Tires (up to nine per household, 22-inch rim diameter or smaller, do not need to be removed from rims).
Important guidelines
Residents are responsible for loading and unloading their own items.
All items must be pre-sorted before arrival.
The event is for residents only; no commercial dumping is allowed.
Vehicle batteries are not accepted at this event
